Q. What is CUonGivingTuesday?
CUonGivingTuesday is Carroll University's annual 24-hour day of giving to raise money that benefits every student, teacher, program, and department on campus. CUonGivingTuesday offers an opportunity to connect Carroll alumni, students, faculty and staff and bring the Carroll community together. CUonGivingTuesday is a chance to show our pride and resilience as Pioneers and to make an impact for the students of today and tomorrow.
Q. When is CUonGivingTuesday?
CUonGivingTuesday is on December 3rd, 2024, from midnight to December 4th at midnight.
Q. What am I supposed to do during CUonGivingTuesday?
SPREAD THE WORD: On December 3, wear your Carroll apparel with pride, and tell your friends, family and colleagues to do so as well! Share your spirit on social media with the hashtag #CUonGivingTuesday. More resources for social media posts can be found here.
GIVE BACK: Make a gift of $5 or more during this 24-hour period and help us reach the 500-donor goal!
Q. What if I've already made a gift to Carroll this year?
Thank you for your gift! You're a true Pioneer. An additional gift - perhaps to a different support area - will help us reach our goal for CUonGivingTuesday, and we encourage you to participate in other ways, too: Wear your Carroll apparel on December 3 and share to social media using the hashtag #CUonGivingTuesday and the web address CUonGivingTuesday.carrollu.edu.
Q. Is there a minimum gift amount?
Yes, the minimum gift amount is $5. We have credit card processing fees and administrative costs to cover, but we’ve kept these as low as we can so everyone can participate (you can also opt to cover those fees for Carroll). Gifts of any amount make a difference and will be counted toward the CUonGivingTuesday total.
Q. Can I make a gift by mail?
Of course. We encourage you to support Carroll University by mail at any time, but we must receive your gift, specifically designated for CUonGivingTuesday, by December 3 for it to count toward the day’s totals. Gifts can be mailed to: Carroll University, Office of Institutional Advancement, 100 N East Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186-9988. Don’t forget to let us know what fund it’s for!
Q. What is Bonterra?
Bonterra, formerly GiveGab, is an online giving platform that helps nonprofits raise money and engage donors, allowing the organizations to function in a more streamlined manner. Carroll University has chosen Bonterra to facilitate CUonGivingTuesday.
Q. Is it safe to make a gift online?
Yes, please don’t worry; online gifts made through Bonterra are safe and secure. Bonterra will not receive your credit card information, and it will never be shared or sold to a third party.
